Chasing the Twist is a new publication covering the world of adventuring with a practical and real point of view.

I have been keeping most music related videos to my other ‘Jeremy Blanchard’ YouTube channel but today I thought I’d make an exception.

After a lot of research, I purchased the TC Electronic Ditto X4 Looper because it was a lot cheaper than the Pigtronix Infinity Looper yet still offered most, if not all, of the features I would want to use.

I’ve been using loopers since the late 1990's and have upgraded mine over the years. I expect to use this one for a while because it has the two main features I was looking for in a multi-loop pedal:

1. Both Sync and Series mode to support simultaneous or A-B playback. (Also supports loops of different lengths)

2. Midi Clock Sync to support staying in time with a backing or drum track.

As I found out, you can also use the looper pedal’s Decay knob to give a simple delay effect.
